After having such an incredibly high demand for the first workshop, we managed to squeeze a second workshop with Allie into March! On Sunday 22nd March 2026, we held our second advanced workshop and Allie outdid herself with the incredible combo that she taught.

After a warm up and some advanced conditioning, the group started the combo with a roll into the hoop from a running man. Te combo moved into an inverted shape on the side bar, rolling through into a flyer and swapping legs into a single knee drop. Next was a russian mount and two stunning shapes in the strop showcasing the flexibility of the group. The combo finished with an offset front balance, extreme dove and hip hold split.

Towards the end of the workshop, our students earnt their Sunday roast by putting the whole combo together before finished with a gentle stretch and cool down.

Allie is a trained dancer and professional aerialist whose love of flying began on BBC One’s The Magicians in 2011. She went on to soar as a flying Mary Poppins in the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony and has performed around the world, from Mumbai and Goa to Sri Lanka and Monaco for a royal wedding.

Alongside her international work, Allie co-hosted the London cabaret Bizu, performing multiple aerial hoop acts, as well as appearing at high-end club events and numerous corporate engagements.
