Payment Terms and Conditions
Your obligations
You are required to make prompt payment of any subscription or booking.
Individual class subscriptions will be billed for the upcoming month via Stripe on the last day of each month. Payment is required in advance of attending any class for the billing month. If your payment fails, please contact us to discuss this. In the event of a failed payment, your subscription may lapse. We are unable to hold spaces for individuals with lapsed subscriptions or payment arrears.
Your initial subscription invoice will be sent via Stripe to the email address that you have registered with us. Ongoing subscriptions will automatically be associated with and charged automatically to the card that your trial class or first subscription payment is paid on. If there are any changes to your contact details, or you would like to change your payment method, please update us.
Cancellations
If you would like to cancel your circus class subscription, please email clear instruction of your cancellation request to info@essexcircusacademy.co.uk 7 days prior to the subscription renewal (the last day of the month). Please confirm the reason why you are cancelling, so that we can continually improve our services. In the unlikely event that you do not receive a response, please follow the request up by phone on 07794683203.
Please note that if you do not notify us of your cancellation with 7 days’ notice, but do not wish to continue with classes, your subscription payment may still be charged, and you will not be eligible for a refund.
Refunds
In the event that we cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a makeup session where possible and will not be eligible for a refund. If we are unable to offer a makeup session, a refund will be offered.
If you have booked an adults’ drop in session and can no longer attend, whilst the payment is non-refundable, you can request to move the booking with 72 hours notice of the class start time.
If you have booked for a workshop, party or event, please note that these are all non-refundable. We will try to move or credit a booking where possible if you are unable to attend for extenuating circumstances. We make no guarantees that we will be able to accommodate this.
No refunds will be made for classes not attended due to sickness, holiday, cancellation part way through a month or for any other absence.
If you are asked not to attend classes due to not following our general terms and conditions or code of conduct, but continue to book on to classes, your booking may be cancelled by Essex Circus Academy, and a refund will be issued.
Refunds will be processed via Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s processing times which may take 5-10 working days. If you are expecting a refund, please wait 10 working days for it to appear on your statement. If 10 working days has elapsed and your refund has not yet credited, please contact us and we will raise this with Stripe.
Please note that if you do not follow our payment terms and conditions and instead request a chargeback on any payments, you may not be permitted to book or attend any further classes, workshops or events.
Price increases
We reserve the right to make reasonable increases to subscription payments. You will be notified of and increases not less than two weeks in advance of the increased payment being collected.
